• Please refer to the appropriate specialist literature or consult a specialist technician.
- If you are not using a DHCP Server (e.g. integrated into all DSL routers), you should assign
a fixed IP address to each device on the network.
- For example, set the router to 192.168.1.1, set the first computer to 192.168.1.2, the
second computer to 192.168.1.3, and so on.
- The first three digits must be the same on all computers; the last digit can range from 1
to 254.
- The 'subnet mask' must be set to 255.255.255.0 for all computers on the network.
- Please keep in mind that an IP address (such as 192.168.1.1) can only be used once on the
network. If you set your router IP address to 192.168.1.1, no other device on the network
can use this IP address.

Care and cleaning

• Clean the internal components of the computer regularly to remove dust. Disconnect your
computer from the power supply before carrying out internal cleaning.
• Do not use abrasive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these may
damage the circuit board or stop the product from functioning properly.
• Use a soft brush for external cleaning of the network card as well to remove dust from other
components. Avoid electrostatic discharge as this can destroy circuit boards.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be placed in household
waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant
statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to protection of the environment.
