Setting a default network
If you have multiple networks under the
Profile
starts up, it connects to the default network (if available).
1. In the interface, click on the
tab.
Profile
2. Select the network from the network list.
3. Click on
Set
Default.
» The default network is set.
Setting up a virtual access point
The virtual access point allows other network hosts (e.g. computer, smart phone) to connect to the product.
The network frequency band is inherited from the WLAN network the product is connected to.
Requirements:

The product is connected to a WLAN network.
Set up the virtual access point as follows:
1. In the bottom bar of the interface, check the

Virtual WiFi
tab is added to the interface.
2. (If unchecked) check the
Start Virtual WiFi Soft AP
» The access point loads.
3. (If unchecked) check the checkboxes:

4. Click on Config.
» The access point configuration mask opens.
5. Configure the access point:
- Define an SSID (network name).
- Set network authentication and encryption.
Device compatibility: Ensure your devices support the selected option.
- Define a network password/key.
6. Click on
to confirm the configuration.

» The configuration mask closes.
» You can now connect network hosts (e.g. computer, smart phone) to the virtual access point using the
defined SSID and password/key.
c) Enable and configure AP mode
In access point mode (AP mode), the product provides a separate WLAN network.
You can set a frequency from the frequency band 2.4 or 5 GHz.
You connect network hosts (e.g. computer, smart phone) to the access point (AP) for network access.
Requirements:

The product is connected to the computer.
•
The computer is connected to a network.
•
The network utility interface is open.
Enabling the mode
1. In the interface, click on Mode(M).
2. Select
Point. The mode switches to AP mode.

1. In the interface, click on General.
2. (If unchecked) check the checkbox

3. Select the network you intend to share.

- Define a network password/key.

» You can now connect network hosts (e.g. computer, smart phone) to the access point using the defined
SSID and password.
Care and cleaning

Disconnect the product from the power supply before each cleaning.
•
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as they can
cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
•
Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
