SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

(WFT Electra Reels are safety certified.)
The electric motor of this reel requires a DC 12V power supply. WFT recommends the WFT Super Lithium Battery (Item
No.: 1D-A 800-050). Operation with different voltages may lead to overheating or can even cause a sudden ignition in
extreme cases.
Use only a fully charged battery. After a long idle time the battery may become discharged and should be re-charged
before use.
Do not connect the reel to a 12V boat electricity network because boat generators do not provide consistent voltage.
Corrosion on the battery terminals can affect the reel function. Please remove any deposits before using the reel.
Use only the original power cable.
Set the drag adjustment with the motor off.
Do not disassemble the reel as this voids your warranty.
Do not touch the line or spool when the motor is running as this may cause injury.
Do not try to loosen a bottom-snagged lure with the power of the electric motor.
Do not submerse the reel under water.
