Installation and disassembly
Installation
Take safety precautions before installing the flow sensor
(e.g. shut off the pipeline).
For front mounting use the threaded inserts in the housing
base for fastening.
Installing in-line in a pipeline (see Fig. 7).
NOTICE
Shear forces
Shear forces and tensions can result in damage to the
sensor and compromise the seals.
► When installing and during operation be sure that no
shear forces can arise (see Fig. 7 and Fig. 8).

Attach pipelines near the threaded connection with no
tension (see Fig. 9, application example).

Avoid changes in pipe diameter within the inlet section.
Maintain clear pipe sections in front of and behind the flow
sensor (see Fig. 10).
Note flow direction.

Disassembly
