5.6 Handbremse verwenden

Das Handbremssystem kann zum
Abbremsen oder Anhalten des Kinder-
wagens verwendet werden. Das Hand-
bremssystem ist keine Feststellbremse.
Das Handbremssystem ist mit zwei
Stellschrauben ausgestattet. Wenn Sie
mit der Verwendung der Stellschrauben
Schwierigkeiten haben, wenden Sie
sich bitte an den Britax Kundendienst
oder an Ihren Händler.

Einwandfreie Funktion feststellen
Damit das Handbremssystem richtig
funktioniert, ist es unerlässlich, dass
es richtig eingestellt ist. Bei richtig
eingestelltem Bremssystem sollten
die Räder sich frei drehen, wenn der
Bremshebel nicht angezogen ist. Um
festzustellen, ob das Bremssystem ein-
wandfrei funktioniert, kontrollieren Sie,
ob bei angezogenem Bremshebel die
richtige Bremskraft angelegt wird und
ob die Bremskraft zwischen rechtem
und linkem Hinterrad ausgeglichen ist.

5.6.1 Bremskraft einstellen

Wenn beim Heranziehen des Brems-
hebels an den Schiebegriff nicht die
richtige Bremskraft angelegt wird,
Position 1 : Softer
Position 2 : Harder

5.6 Using the hand brake

The hand brake system may be
used to help slow or stop a stroller.
The hand brake system is not a
parking brake.
The hand brake system is equipped
with two barrel adjusters. If you are
not familiar with how to use the
barrel adjusters, please contact
Britax customer service or visit your
local dealer for assistance.

Establish Correct Function
For the hand brake system to work
correctly, it is critical that it be adjus-
ted properly. With the braking sys-
tem properly adjusted, the wheels
should freely rotate when the brake
lever is not engaged. To establish
if the braking system is functioning
correctly, check if proper brake force
is applied when the brake lever is
pulled and see if the brake force is
balanced (evenly applied), between
both the right and left rear wheels.

5.6.1 Adjust Brake Force

If correct brake force is not applied
when the brake lever is pulled to
the handle bar, then the brake cable
