MALFUNCTION
Vibration from back end.

CAUSE
Check the ball race in the fork
is smooth.
Check the front bearing for
wear.
Check the fork is not hitting the
crank shaft head because the
post is not correctly set.
Has your handpiece locked up
and bent the crank shaft?
Check the ferrule is not sloppy
inside the short tube.
Check you have no movement
between the back half joints.
Check your cogs are in good
condition.
Check the inner back half joint
is a good fit inside the bush
with no sideways movement.
Check the bearings in the inner
and outer back half joints.
RECTIFICATION
Replace fork body.
Replace bearing.
Reset post.
Replace the crank shaft.
Change the short tube and the
ferrule.
Replace caps and back joint
spring.
Replace cogs.
Replace the bush first, if it is still
sloppy replace the inner back
half joint (always replace the
seal).
Replace if worm.
