Terrace heater, with lamp shade
Read the user manual carefully to make sure that the product is assembled, used and
maintained correctly, as described in the instructions in this user manual. Keep the user
manual for future reference.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• The terrace heater is intended for private use only.
• The power cable must be connected to an earthed socket at 230V, 50/60 Hz.
• There must be at least 50 cm of free space above the terrace heater and
at least 100 cm of free space at the side of the terrace heater.
• Handle the terrace heater with care. It must not vibrate and must stand
steady.
• The heating element of the terrace heater becomes hot when the terrace
heater is switched on and remains so for a while after switching off. Do
not touch the heating element! Remove the power plug from the socket
and wait until the heating element has cooled down before touching it.
• Never cover the terrace heater, irrespective of whether it is on or off.
• Due to the risk of fire, do not fit or place the terrace heater close to flam-
mable objects, such as curtains. Make sure that no combustible material
– such as curtains, tents, flags, cling film, etc. – covers or interferes with
the appliance as a result of wind or other environmental effects.
• Do not wrap the power cable around the terrace heater.
• All repairs must be carried out by an authorised service workshop.
Damaged power cables must be replaced by a qualified electrician.
• Do not allow children to play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance
must not be carried out by children unless under supervision.
• Do not place the terrace heater below or close to the electrical socket.
• Do not use timers, programmers or any other equipment that automati-
cally switches on the terrace heater. There is a risk of fire if the terrace
heater is covered or in the wrong place.
