• The printer is designed to allow access to the
paper path for clearing label jams. Refer to the
Leitz Icon Printer User Guide (available at
www.leitz.com) for instructions on clearing
label jams. Do not open the printer housing
or try to repair the printer in any other way.
For information on printer repair, contact
Customer Support.
• The thermal print head may become very hot
while printing. If you need to clear a label jam,
unplug the printer and allow sufficient time for
the print head to cool before accessing the
paper path.
• CAUTION: The cutter blade is sharp and may
be exposed when accessing the paper path.
Be careful not to touch the cutter blade.
• This printer contains no user-serviceable
parts. Do not attempt to service the printer
yourself.
Repair service should be performed by a
trained technician.
