Positioning
C-Light lamp heads are equipped with a tilting head 8.
The unit can be attached to a stand or a pantograph
using one of the two holes a. The head can be
swiveled round 360°. By tightening the knurl screw b
the unit can be fixed. The safety screw must be
screwed into thread c. Wing nut d guarantees for tilting
up and down. To ensure smooth movement please oil
the thread if necessary. Above the tilting head an
umbrella holder e is integrated.
Fuses
Outlets, in the building:
minimum 10 A fuse outlets
Halogen lamp
The C-Light is usually protected by a fuse 2, 6,3 A fast
(6,3 AF) for 230 V operation with a 1000 W halogen
lamp.
It is very important to check fuses before operation.
The required value depends on the mains voltage and
the type of the halogen lamp (please refer to page 27,
Maintenance, Replacement of fuses, for looking up the
type). A wrong fuse may cause a bursting of the
halogen modeling lamp.
Mains connection
Insert the plug of the provided power cable into the
mains connector 3 and then connect the cable to the
mains outlet.
Continuous light units must only be connected to
mains outlets with ground connection.
