5.1. DEALING WITH PROBLEMS

SYMPTOMS
The humidifier doesn´t
work and emits neither
air nor vapour
The vapour smells bad
The vapour doesn´t
smell of essence

red, but the tank is full

6. MAINTENANCE: CLEANING THE ULTRASONIC HUMIDIFIER
In order to ensure the product is always clean:
· Use purified water.
· Clean the base of the unit, the water tank and the ultrasonic transducer regularly as
specified below.
CAUSE
The device is not
connected to the power
mains
The humidifier has not
turned on.
The water tank is empty.
The humidifier is new
The water is dirty or
has been stored in the
warehouse for a long time
No essence has been put
in or the sponge is too dry
The water tank is too full
The water tank has not
been place on the base

ACTION
Connect the humidifier to the
power mains
Turn it on by pressing the
button (7)
Fill the water tank
Open the tank and air it in
a dry and cool place for 12
hours
Clean the tank and refill it with
clean water
Add essence to the
compartment until the sponge
is soaked (around 10 drops)
Remove a little water from the
tank and put it back in place
Remove the tank and place
it back on the base correctly.
Check there are air bubbles
in the tank when placing it on
the base
Clean the transducer as
instructed in item 6 of the
instructions manual
Fill the tank with water

Place the humidifier on a
stable and flat surface
