Dry ironing

1. Place the station (2) on the iron shelf of your ironing board.
2. Insert the mains plug of the station in a properly installed socket that is easily ac-
cessible. Ensure that the mains cord (4) does not pose a tripping hazard. Keep the
station turned off.
3. Set the steam quantity control (7) on the station to the OFF position.
4. Check the label in the piece of clothing for the required ironing temperature and set
this using the temperature control (11) on the iron. The desired temperature level
must be next to the control light.
5. Place the iron in the station to heat it up.
6. Turn on the station by fl ipping the On/Off switch (5) to the 1 position.
7. During preheating, the temperature control light (10) of the iron will be illuminated.
Wait, till the device is preheated and the temperature control light goes out. The de-
vice is ready to use now and you can start ironing.

Filling the water tank

ATTENTION!
❐ Switch off the station (switch position 0) and always pull the mains plug, before you
refi ll/empty the water tank. In the process, never pull on the cable, but always on the
plug.
❐ Never add cleaners or other additives to the water tank. They may irreparably dam-
age the device and as such, the safe operation of the device can no longer be as-
sured.
❐ Never exceed the maximum fi ll level (observe the MAX mark on the water tank!). The
life span of the device increases, if you use pure distilled water.
1. Ensure that the station is switched off and disconnected from the power supply. Set
the steam quantity control (7) to the OFF position.

Steam ironing

ATTENTION!
❐ Never point the steam directly at people, animals or plants. This can lead to serious
scalds.
1. Fill the water tank (3) with water (see section "Filling the water tank").
2. Place the station (2) on the iron shelf of your ironing board.
2. Pull the water tank (3) out of the station.
3. Fill the water tank with water up to the MAX mark.
4. Push the water tank back into the station until it locks into
place.
