Ironing recommendations

• The device offers the following temperature levels:

• Sensitive pieces of clothing should be ironed inside out, in order to preserve the
material.
• Although the device can also be used for sensitive fabrics such as silk or wool, you
should read the care instructions of the textile before ironing it with the device. Some
fabrics such as leather, suede and velvet may not be ironed!
• We recommend sorting the pieces of clothing according to the temperature required
for ironing and starting with those clothes which require the lowest temperature. Oth-
erwise, wait a few minutes when you switch the device from a higher temperature to
a lower temperature before you continue to iron.
• For an optimum ironing result, it is recommended to dry iron the piece of clothing after
steam ironing, in order to remove moisture from the piece of clothing.

Use

ATTENTION!
❐ Never attempt to iron clothing that is being worn by someone.
❐ Risk of injury! Only hold the device by the handle during operation.
❐ Unwind the mains cord completely and ensure that the power line and steam pipe
from the station to the iron is not twisted or rolled-up.
❐ Only iron on a stable, level, heat and moisture resistant base. We recommend to use
a commercially-available ironing board.
❐ Do not iron on bases made of glass or plastic.
❐ Always work with suffi cient lighting.
❐ Always fi rst test the device on a small, unnoticable area of clothing.
❐ Never iron one area for too long in order to prevent damage to the clothing.
❐ Do not iron across zippers, rivets, buckles etc. to avoid scratches on the coating of
the soleplate.
❐ Always set the iron down in the station, in order to avoid damages on surface, which
can be caused by the hot soleplate.
NOTICE: It is possible that smoke or odour may be produced the fi rst time you use the
device. This is harmless and will cease as you use the device.
