Installation and connection

Attention! The unit becomes very hot during operation.
Possible consequence: Combustible materials in the surrounding area could catch fire.
Protective measure: Do not operate the unit in the vicinity of combustible materials.

• Install the transformer (not included in the delivery scope) at least 2 m from the edge of the pond.
• Position the unit in such a way that it does not present a hazard to anyone.
The unit is supplied with a bulb and a 3 m connection cable. The foot and the ground stake can be fitted to the spotlight
with a bolt. When installing it above the water level, allow a safety distance of at least 50 cm from combustible material.
Ensure that it is securely seated in a stable position. Do not cover the unit. Danger of fire!
Start-up
Attention! Sensitive electrical components.
Possible consequence: The unit will be destroyed.
Protective measure: Do not connect the unit to a dimmable power supply.
Attention! Dangerous electrical voltage.
Possible consequences: Death or severe injury.
Protective measures:
• Electrical units and installations with a rated voltage of U > 12 V AC or U >30 V DC located in the water:
Isolate the units and installations (switch off and disconnect from the power supply) before reaching into the
water.
• Isolate the unit before starting any work.
• Secure the unit to prevent unintentional switching on.
Switching on:
• Connect the connector of the spotlight to the socket of the transformer.
• Plug the power plug of the transformer into the mains socket.
• Check the function of the spotlight.
Switching off: Disconnect the transformer power plug.
Adjustment of beam angle
Attention! Do not loosen the focus ring as this allows water to enter the luminaire.
The beam angle can be adjusted continuously between 10°- 40° by turning the focus ring.
Replacing the bulb

Important! Only original bulbs from OASE may be used.
Adhere to the safety regulations! Disconnect the power plug, take the unit out of the water, insert a new bulb (do not
touch with your hands, use a cloth or similar). Reassemble the unit in the reverse order, connect to the power supply
and perform a function check.
