PREPARING THE APPLIANCE

• Check that the exhaust filter (16+17) is
fitted to the exhaust port (2) (See section
Replacing filters and emptying the dust
container, below).
• Check that the dust container (6) and the
permanent filter (24) are correctly assembled
(refer to Replacing filters and emptying dust
containers below).
• Fit the dust container.
o Place the dust container in the recess at
the bottom of the appliance and press
down on the handle until the dust
container clicks into place.

o T o remove the dust container, press the
lock button on the top center of the dust

the appliance.
• Attach hose (11) to the appliance but
attaching the hose connector (12) to the
hose port (7) at the bottom front edge of
the appliance so that the hooks fit into the
inserts in the edge of the port. Turn the hose
coupling clockwise until it locks into place.
o To remove the hose, turn the hose
connector anti-clockwise and pull it out.
• Attach the handle (22) to one end of the

telescopic tube (20) and then attach the floor
nozzle (13) to the other end of the tube.
• To adjust the length of the telescopic tube:
Press the lock button on the tube (19), then
pull or push the tube until it is the required
length.

USING THE APPLIANCE

• Pull the cord (4) out of the appliance. The
cord must not be pulled out further than
the yellow mark. Plug in and switch on the
power.
• Press the On/Off button (1) to switch the
appliance on and off.
