Control panel installation:
•
All standard Sidepower control panels of 1999 models and later
can be used in any combination as well as any two way switching
device when installed with an ON/OFF switch that breaks control
power to this switch.
•
You can install as many panels as you wish by using optional Y-
connectors. If two or more panels are operated at the same time
in opposite directions, the electronic controlbox will stop the
thruster until it only receives a signal to go in one direction.
•
When using original Sidepower equipment it is all "plug & go".
•
If the drive direction of the thruster is the opposite of what
expected, the blue and grey wire must be changed on the
thruster solenoid. You must turn the electronic controlbox 180
around in its clip to do this.
•
All controls must have spring load for automatic return to neutral
position.
•
The mechanical installation of the panel is described in the
manual following the panel.
•
The thruster control should be placed in a position were it is easy
to use, and it is very common to use the thruster at the same
time as your gear / throttle lever so it is normally a user friendly
solution to be able to access these with one hand for each control.
Pin configuration of 4 pole AMP contact:
Pin1: BLACK = Ground
Pin2: BLUE = Engages thruster SB solenoid
Pin3: GREY = Engages thruster Port solenoid
Pin4: RED = Positive voltage for control panel

Kontrollpanelinstallation:
•
Alle Sidepower-Panels der Modellreihe 1999 und später können
in beliebiger Kombination, sowie mit einem 2 Wege Schalter,
falls ein Ein/Aus Schalter installiert ist, der den Steuer-strom zu
diesem Schalter unterbricht, verwendet werden.
•
Es können beliebig viele Panels mit Hilfe des Y-Verbinders
verwendet werden. Werden gleichzeitig zwei oder mehr Panels
in unterschiedlicher Richtung betätigt, so stoppt die Kontrollbox
den Thruster, bis dieser nur ein Richtungssignal erhält.
•
Bei Verwendung von original Sidepower Komponenten ist das
gesamte elektrische Systeme "plug & go".
•
Läuft der Thruster entgegengesetzt zum Kontrollpanel, so müssen
0 die blaue und graue Leitung an den Hauptrelais gegeneinander
getauscht werden. Hierbei muß die elektronische Kontrollbox um
180 0 gedreht werden.
•
Alle Schalter müssen über eine automatische Rückstellung
(Federmechanismus) in Nullposition verfügen.
•
Die mechanische Installation des Panels ist in der dem Panel
beiliegenden Anleitung beschrieben.
•
Das Panel sollte in einer Position montiert werden, wo es leicht
zu bedienen ist. Da Thruster und Hauptantrieb oft zusammen
verwendet werden, ist es benutzerfreundlich, das Panel so zu
postionieren, daß mit je einer Hand gesteuert werden kann.
Pin-Belegung des 4 poligen AMP Kontakts:
Pin1: SCHWARZ = Masse
Pin2: BLAU = Steuert Thruster SB Relais
Pin3: GRAU = Steuert Thruster BB Relais
Pin4: ROT = Positive Spannung für Kontrollpanel
