9.10 Expansion valve adjustment (pump pressure)
Beneath the front panel, near the spout of the
water/steam nozzle, there is a knob to adjust the valve.
Turning the knob regulates the pressure of the coffee
delivery pump. To adjust the pressure, do the following:

Fill the coffee holder with the correct degree and
quantity of ground coffee.

Attach the filter holder and start coffee delivery.

Wait until the pressure gauge displays a stable
pressure value and then turn the valve adjustment
knob.

Turn in a clockwise direction to lower the pressure
in the circuit and anti-clockwise to increase the
pressure in the circuit.
It is recommended to set the pressure in the circuit to
between 9 and 10 Bar.
10. PROGRAMMES
To enter programming mode, press and hold the
ENTER key (photo 3 ref. z) From this menu it is possible
to programme the coffee doses, water, steam, grinding
time, clock adjustment, temperature, pre-infusion,
stand-by, clock, and switch ON/OFF.
10.1. Programming doses
(simulation).

Press the ENTER key until "MENU SETUP" appears
on the display and the programmable keys flash.

Press the key to be programmed (T1, T2, T8, T9, T3,
T4) until the desired quantity is reached and press
the key that is being programmed again.

Press the ESC key twice to exit programming.
It is recommended to adjust the valve (9.7) and the
grind (9.8) before programming the doses.
In the event there is no water in the reservoir, the
machine will stop delivery and the keys will flash.
10.2. Programming the coffee grind dose

Press the ENTER key until "MENU SETUP" appears
on the display and the programmable keys flash.

Press the coffee grind dose key to be programmed
(T5C or T6). The time inserted will appear on the
display.

Press the + and - keys, or move the slider to the left
or right to set the desired time and press ENTER to
confirm.

Press the ESC key twice to exit programming.

10.3. Programming the coffee temperature

Press the ENTER key until "MENU SETUP" appears
on the display. Press ENTER again and "TIME" will
appear on the display along with the temperature
setting.

Press the + and - keys, or move the slider to the left
or right to set the desired temperature and press
ENTER to confirm.

Press the ESC key twice to exit programming.
10.4. Programming pre-infusion

Press the ENTER key until "MENU SETUP" appears
on the display. Press ENTER again until "PREINF"
appears on the display along with the parameter
setting (ON/OFF).

Press the + and - keys to set the desired parameter,
ON to enable pre-infusion or OFF to disable it, then
press ENTER to confirm.

Press the ESC key twice to exit programming.
The pre-infusion function improves coffee extraction.
Deliver water for 2 seconds to soak the coffee in the
filter holder and begin coffee delivery after a moment's
pause.
10.5. Stand-by

Press the ENTER key until "MENU SETUP" appears
on the display. Press ENTER again until "STANDBY"
appears on the display along with the parameter
setting (ON/OFF).

Press the + and - keys to set the desired parameter,
ON to enable stand-by or OFF to disable it, then
press ENTER to confirm.

Press the ESC key twice to exit programming.
The stand-by function switches the machine off 15
minutes after the last delivery as a measure to save
energy. When the machines switches to stand-by, the
LEDs turn off and "STAND-BY" and the time alternate on
the display.
10.6. Programming the clock

Press the ENTER key until "MENU SETUP" appears
on the display. Press ENTER again until "CLOCK"
appears on the display (the time flashes). Press the
+ and - keys, or move the slider to the left or right
to set the desired value, then press ENTER to
confirm and to then adjust the minutes.

The minutes will flash, therefore press the + and -
keys to set the desired value, then press ENTER to
confirm.

Press the ESC key twice to exit programming.
10.7. Programming the ON/OFF times

Press the ENTER key until "MENU SETUP" appears
on the display. Press ENTER again until "ON TIME"
appears on the display (the time flashes). Press the
+ and - keys, or move the slider to the left or right
