9. Proper storage of the filter cartridge

Spare filter cartridges should always be kept in the original packing foil until the

filter cartridge is changed.
Spare filter cartridges are to be stored in a cool and dry place and may not be

exposed to direct sunlight.
10. Recommendation for disposal
Always observe the local waste disposal regulations!
Filter cartridges and filter filling: Exhausted filter cartridges are disposed of with

your household waste.
Packing material: Foils and cardboard packing are - if locally possible - disposed

of according to the system of waste separation. This way you make a substantial
contribution to environmental conservation.
Water filtering system: The water filtering system is - if locally possible - disposed

of according to the system of waste separation. This way you make a substantial
contribution to environmental conservation.
The exchange indicator „Easy-Control" is an electronic com-

ponent, which is to be disposed of according to the locally
applicable regulations and legal provisions. The exchange
indicator can be removed from the lid by means of a
screwdriver, which is put under the rim of the „Easy-Control".
The „Easy-Control" may only be removed from the lid for
reasons of disposal.
