1. General
Unpack the Homecleaner and identify all parts as shown in
the illustration, page 8 of this manual.
The Homecleaner has four functions:
Dry vacuum cleaner
Hartbodenreiniger

The combination nozzle has two functions
Vacuuming on hard surfaces
Exit the brush by pressing the lever.
Vacuuming on carpet
These retract the brush via a lever.
If required the other three tools can be used with or without
the extension tubes:
Upholstery nozzle
for cleaning curtains, upholstery and stairs.
Dusting brush
for lamp fittings, picture rails, upholstery.
Crevice tool
for corners and edges, radiators etc.

Carpet extractor
For vacuum cleaning the waste
water tank (4), the spray hose
with spraying valve (13) and
the waste water tube (5) are
not required. Fit the paper bag
(23) to the connecting point
(12) inside the cleaner body
and place cover (6) on top of the
tank. Insert and press the
vacuum hose (14) end to the
cleaner body into the connector
(2). Insert the handle (14) end
of the hose into the extension
tube (15) and push together.
Toseparate twist and pull apart.
Fit the carpet/hardfloor tool (20)
into the tube.
To reduce suction power adjust
the thumb control on the handle.
Pressing the switch marked
„Vacuum" (8) will now start
th emachine. Do not press the
switch marked „Pump" as this
button is only required for
spray-extraction. After cleaning

dustbag (23) and fit the water
tube inside cleaner body by
pressing it onto the connector.

When vacuuming liquids you
do not need a spray Suction
set. Remove the Spray suction
set. the suction nozzle (16) onto
the end of the suction pipes
and push the stick hard floor
attachment (22) on the suction
nozzle (16).
For extraction of clogged drains, you only need the hose
to the handle.
Switch only for naturally aspirated (8) switch. When used
with the dirty water bucket (4) always make sure that this
does not overflow.
Dry after each wet cleaning the tube and let the
container (3) inside to dry, otherwise you will get wet
and dust bag bursts open!
4. Using the Homecleaner as a carpet
extractor and hardfloor
Before using the Homecleaner as a carpet extractor or
as a hardfloor cleaner:
clear ornaments and all removable furniture from the room.
thoroughly vacuum clean the carpet.
treat heavy stains with a pre-cleaner.
For best results use carpet care products recommended by
the manufacturer. They have been developed especially to
give the deep down cleaning and maintain fibre colour fast-
ness. All these products are friendly to your environment and
safe to use with all.
Assembly and operation:
1.
Disconnect from the electrical supply, remove the trans-
parent cover and remove paper dustbag.

Mount waste water tube on the inside of the cleaner
body where dustbag was removed.

Assemble carpet extraction
accessories as follows:
3.1
Attach the spray and suc-
tion nozzle into the tube.
3.2. Attach the spray hose con-
nector by inserting into the
quick connector firmly until it
clicks. Insert and press the
hose end to the cleaner body.
3.3. Attach
the
spray
hose
trigger by sliding it along the
grooves
on
the handle.
3.4. Attach the spray hose to
the hose with the clips provided.
4.
Remove waste water con-
tainer. Fill machine with clean
warm water and cleaning agent
upto the central stem. It is
clearly marked. Fit the waste
water tube to the connecting point.
5.
Replace the waste water
tank and pour a teaspoon full
of defoamer into the tank. This
will
help
reduce foaming,
should it occur. Replace the
transparent cover.
Do not pour water or clea-
ning agents into the cen-
tral stem suction tube!
6.
Press vacuum and pump
switches. To spray the clea-
ning solution squeeze the con-
trol trigger on the handle.
7.
For hardfloor cleaning slide
the hardfloor adaption into the
lower grooves of the suction
nozzle.
