SYSTEM CONNECTIONS
Connection to a TV
You may connect the device to a TV, using dif-
ferent cables.
1. Composite cable (RCA) (included)
Connect the video and audio cables according
to the color codes.
. Component cable (not included)
Connect the video and audio cables according
to the color codes.
3. SCART cable (not included)
Connection via SCART IN and SCART OUT
ports.
Connection to a stereo amplifier
Connect the TV to the video output of the DVD
player.
Connect the amplifier to the coaxial input of the
DVD player. Connect the audio cables according
to the color codes.
Connection to a digital audio amplifier
Connect the TV to the video output of the DVD
player.
Use optical or coaxial cables to connect the
amplifier to the DVD player.
1. Optical cable
Connect the amplifier to the OPTICAL output of
the DVD player.
. Coaxial cable
Connect the amplifier to the COAXIAL output of
the DVD player.
Connection via HDMI cable
Connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI ports of
the player and the TV/amplifier.
INTRODUCTION
Press the power button POWER to turn on the DVD player. The system will scan the device (LOAd/
LESEN). If there is no disc inserted or no external device connected, NO-dS will appear on the dis-
play and (depending on the mode) NO DISC/NO CARD/NO USB will appear on the screen.
Switch your TV on and adjust the relevant settings (AV1, AV, S-Video, HDMI, etc.). When connecting
an amplifier, please select the appropriate output.
