and slide back until the blade cover (9) can be removed (Fig. 5).

Initial Operation 1. Push the safety lock-oswitch (4) forward, whilst holding the lock-oswitch forward depress the on/o(5) to start
operation. Once the trigger switch (5) is engaged you can release the safety lock-oswitch (4) (Fig. 11).
The safety lock-off switch reduces the risk of accidental starting. To stop the Hedge/grass Trimmer release the on/off trigger switch
(5) (Fig. 11).
Do not force the blades through dense growth. If the blades slow down, then reduce your pace. Should the blades jam, release the
trigger immediately. Do not use fingers to free up jammed blades. Jammed blades can release suddenly causing serious injury.
Never touch the blade rail while in operation and be aware of sharp edges even when the Hedge/Grass Trimmer is not in use. Always
ensure you are securely balanced with a free work area before switching on the Hedge/Grass Trimmer. Note: The yellow low charge
indicator LED (Fig. 2 (7)) will be illuminated when the battery is running low and requires charging.
