COMMISSIONING
To enable the KNX device, you must configure it using the ETS
Engineering Tool Software.
The product database is available in the reserved area of the V2
website www.v2home.com (file LEXKNX-DB.knxprod).
1. Configure the device on the KNX network using the ETS
software: assign a device address to the motor, configure
the parameters and associate the communication objects
requested to the group addresses
2. Power the motor
3. Press and release the button SW1 on the motor head
4. The RED led switches on
5. Download the configuration on the device
6. When the motor has saved the configuration, the RED leg
switches off.

Using this parameter, you can indicate if automation is used on the roller shutter or awning;
some functions are managed differently for the two types of automation:
Shutters
The brightness sensor is used to adjust brightness in
the environment: if there is strong light, the shutter
is closed. A single sensor is used.
If the shutter moves without being controlled by the
motor, a burglary attempt is detected and an alarm is
sent on the Knx bus.
The Indoor Temperature object can be used to adjust
the ambient temperature.
The shutter is considered closed in the lower limit
position (100%).
In automatic operation, you can choose in which
position the shutter is brought to when it must be
closed.
You can keep the shutter completely closed by night,
independent of the criterion for automatic operation
by day.
Enabling the possibility of acquiring the actual position of the shutter/awning in one of the scenes.
If SceneLearnEnable is enabled, using the "Scenes" datapoint, with the learn bit at 1, the position is
acquired in the scene indicated.
If SceneLearnEnable is disabled, the "Scenes" datapoint can only be used with the learn bit at 0, to reach
the saved positions.
Duration of step movement in hundredths of a second.
The operating parameters are divided in pages, based on the
functionality: the first page contains the general use parameters,
the three next pages allow configuration of operation in alarm
status, the fifth page allows management of automatic operation
and lastly, the last contains the parameters specifically for
information exchange between V2 devices.
Awnings
The brightness sensor allows awning opening on
a calm day. A single sensor can be used, or three
sensors to follow the sun.
The burglary attempt does not apply to the awnings.
The Indoor Temperature object is not available.
The awning is considered closed in the upper limit
position (0%).
In automatic operation, the awning is always either
completely closed or completely open.
Closure of the awning by night is intrinsic to the
criteria used for automatic operation.
