12. Troubleshooting

The product left our warehouse in perfect condition. If you do encounter a
problem, however, please consult the table below to see if you can solve the
problem. If the problem persists, please contact our customer service de-
partment.
Problem
The appliance is not
working.
The food is not cooked.
The food is not cooked
evenly.
Large amounts of smoke,
unpleasant odours or
taste

Possible cause
The plug is not connect-
ed to the mains.
The overheating protec-
tion has been triggered.
The fondue container is
overfilled.
The cooking tempera-
ture is too low.
The cooking time is too
short.
The pieces of food are
too close to each other.
The deep-frying fat has
gone off.
The fat is not suitable for
deep-frying.
Remedy
Connect the appliance
to a properly installed
AC 220-240 V~ 50/60 Hz
safety socket.
Contact the customer
service department.
Cut the food into small
pieces which cook more
evenly.
Set the temperature con-
trol to the required tem-
perature.
Cook the food a little
longer.
Distribute the food even-
ly in the fondue con-
tainer.
Changing the frying oil
or fat.
Change the frying fat
and use suitable frying
fat.
