4 . Pull the stopper out of the condensate drain outlet
and collect the water in a receptacle or conduct it
via a hose into a lower-lying drain .
5 . Make sure that the receptacle you have chosen to
collect the water in is large enough . If the water runs
over, this could result in extensive water damage.
6 . Put the stopper back into the condensate drain
outlet after the dehumidification process has been
completed . If a stopper is missing or has not been
put back in properly, then water can run out of the
unit and cause extensive damage.
Ventilation mode (circulation)
1 . Press the "Power" key to switch on
the unit .
2 . Press the "Mode" key to select venti-
lation mode . The "Fan" lamp lights up .
3 . Press the " Fan Speed" key to se-
lect between the different speeds
"High" "Med" or "Low" .
Using the timer to switch the unit on or off at a
later time
The maximum length of time
which can be set before the unit
switches itself on or off respec-
tively is 12 hours . Each press
of the "Timer/Temp Adjust" key
increases/reduces the number
of remaining hours by one hour . The remaining num-
ber of hours are shown on the display .

1 . Press the "Timer" key when the unit is switched on .
The lamp "Room Temp" goes out and the "On/Off"
lamp starts to blink .
2 . Press the "Timer/Temp Adjust" key to set the number
of minutes after which the unit switches itself off .
3 . Please note that the "Room Temp" lamp lights up
again after the setting has been changed . The dis-
play shows the room temperature .
The unit switches itself automatically when the tim-
er has stopped . The "On/Off" lamp indicates that the
timer is activated .

The unit operates with the last settings after it has
been switched on . To change these settings, first
switch on the unit, then change the settings accord-
ingly . The unit can be switched off again . The new
settings have been saved .

length of time you would like to pass before the
timer switches the unit on automatically .
The unit switches itself on automatically when the time
you have set has elapsed . The "On/Off" lamp blinks to

Information regarding the timer function:
• Press the "Power" key to reset the timer .
• The number of remaining hours are shown on the
display when the "Timer" key is pressed after the
timer has been activated . Press the "Timer/Temp
Adjust" to change the number of remaining hours .
• It is possible that the timer function will be deleted if
the unit is detached from the power supply .
07 . SHUTTING DOWN THE UNIT
Power off the unit by either pressing the "Power" key
on the control panel or the relevant key on the remote
control . Then pull the plug out of the socket . Do not
power off the unit by pulling the plug out of the socket .
Storage
If the unit is to be taken out of operation for a longer
period (e .g . during the winter months), then please
proceed as follows:
1 . Switch on the unit and allow to run in ventilation-
mode (Fan) for approx . 2 hours to dry the vaporiser
blades . The remaining moisture
Is then transported out of the unit, thus preventing
any unpleasant odours from developing when the
unit is later put into operation again .
2 . Press the "Power" to switch off the unit . Pull out
the plug and wind up the power cord .
