Mounting the Protective Devices
Before any work on the machine itself, pull the
mains plug.
Protection Guard
For work with grinding or cutting discs, the pro-
tection guard 12 must be mounted.

onto the spindle collar accord-
ing to the illustration. The trian-
gular markings
protection guard must corre-
spond with the respective
markings on the spindle collar.
Press the protection guard 12
onto the spindle collar until the
shoulder of the
guard is seated against the
flange of the machine, and turn
the protection guard until it can
clearly be heard to engage.
