Troubleshooting

If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact the cus-
tomer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
Problem
The device does not
work. / The device
cannot be switched
on.
The fuse in the fuse
box is triggered.
The device has not
been set automatical-
ly despite the timer
being set.
The device does not
heat up.
During use, an
unpleasant smell is
detected.

Possible cause
The mains plug is not inserted
correctly in the socket.
The socket is defective.
No mains voltage is present.
The On / Off switch (5) is in
position O.
Too many devices connected
to the same circuit.
No error can be identifi ed.
The timer setting has not
been confi rmed via the
WEEK / TIME button (30).
The heating function has not
been switched on.
The ambient temperature is
above the set temperature.
The device is being used for
the fi rst time.
Fix
Correct the fi t of the mains
plug.
Try another
socket.
Check the fuse of the mains
connection.
The On / Off switch must be
in position I so that the device
can be switched on via the
control panel (9) or the remote
control.
Reduce the number of devic-
es in the circuit.
Contact our customer service
department.
The WEEK / TIME button
must be pressed at the end
of the timer setting process to
save the settings.
Switch on the heating function
via the remote control or the
control panel (see the "Use"
chapter).
Set a higher temperature for
the heating function.
There are production residues
in / on the device. This is nor-
mal and will not occur again.
Make sure that the room is
well ventilated!
