PREFACE

Congratulations and many thanks for selecting one of
our products. We sincerely wish you long and problem
free use in the years ahead. The experience of our tech-
nicians, who have been working in this industrial seg-
ment for many years, has permitted the manufacturing
of this innovative and high quality ice-maker that, if cor-
rectly handled as specified in this manual and not mis-
handled or altered, will not represent any hazard to peo-
ple who use it. This publication is intended to aquaint
you with the correct use of this ice machine and with the
care that is required for trouble free operation and opti-
mum performance. It is important to adhere to the
instructions indicated herein and that the user will never
put their hands into the compressor/condenser com-
partment with the risk of mishandling controls and safe-
ty devices. Therefore, we suggest that you thoroughly
read this manual, paying close attention to the warnings
and advises that are given. Whenever communicating
with the manufacturer about your machine, always indi-
cate the model and serial number.

WARRANTY
The warranty conditions are those supplied by the
official distributor for your area.
In case of parts replacement only GENUINE service
parts must be used.
GENERAL INFORMATION AT DELIVERY
IMPORTANT.
CAREFULLY READ THIS USERMANUAL BEFORE
INSTALLING THE MACHINE.
Please note the following guidelines:
- that the packing does not show any sign of damage.
- that the unit corresponds to what is specified on the
purchase order.
- that the machine is not damaged externally and no
parts are missing.
- that during transport certain internal parts have not
been damaged.
In case of severe damage noted or parts missing, report
immediately to the delivering carrier and your agent.
The illustrations shown in this manual are generic and
can differ in some details from the delivered machine.
Any illustration, schematic or documents supplied with
the machine belongs to the manufacturer who reserves
copyright and expressly forbids any reproduction of
them without written permission.
The Manufacturers policy is one of continuous improve-
ment and reserves the right to make changes at any
time without prior notice or incurring any obligation
whatsoever.

UNIT DESCRIPTION

The units described in this manual are self-contained
cube ice makers, namely with a built-in ice storage bin.
One half of their daily ice production capacity can be
stored in the self contained bin in which a thermostat
controls the collected ice level.
This thermostat cut out the unit operation when in con-
tact with stored ice and it cut-in when some ice is
removed from the storage bin.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

For the correct unit operation you must carefully read
this manual and adhere to its instructions, by doing this
your machine will operate safely and last for several
years to come.
If in any doubt you should contact the local agent or dis-
tributor.
The MANUFACTURER accepts no responsability what-
soever for any damage or injury to people resulting from
the non-observance of the safety instructions.
WARNING
Disconnect the electrical power before beginning any
maintenance or cleaning operation. (29)
MAKE SURE YOUR HANDS ARE PROPERLY
WIPED DRY.
The electrical disconnect switch must be within hand
reach of the installed machine. (8)
IMPORTANT.
DO NOT REMOVE ANYSERVICE PANEL SECURED-
WITH SCREWS.
The water shut-off valve must be within hand reach of
the installed machine. (18)
ATTENTION.
Maintenance and cleaning operations must be per-
formed by authorized Service Agents.
If the unit is to be moved, be sure to lift it rather than
damage the legs. (42)

Make sure that the receptacle of the available electric
power supply has an earth ground wire. (46)
