How to use the SliceSy
Check the contents of the box. Please note that some working
parts (I) are optional in certain markets. However, all working parts
(I) may be purchased separately.
Risk of injury by sharp edges/blades and rotating parts.
1. Working with the chopping blade (C)
Application: chops raw and cooked vegetables (onion, cabbage,
chilli peppers etc), fruits (apples, pears etc.), cooked or raw meat
(also for making steak tartare, pâté etc.), nuts.
Insert the discharge plate (B) into the bowl (A). Make sure that the
four notches of the plate (marked with arrows) match the pro-
trusions of the bowl (fig. J). Failure to assemble this unit correctly
may result in permanent damage.
Remove the blade guard and put the blade (C) on the spindle of the
discharge plate (B). After cleaning, replace the blade guard imme-
diately.
The blade (C) is very sharp! Be careful not to injure yourself
when handling it. (Place the blade in the blade guard
whenever it is not in use.) Never leave the blade within reach of
children.
Put the food (vegetable, fruit, meat etc.) into the bowl (A).
Tip: Many foodstuffs enlarge their volume when they are chopped.
Therefore, we recommend that you not fill the bowl more than
halfway.
Place the transmission unit (E) onto the bowl (A) to close it.
Put your bamix vertically on the transmission shaft (F) and switch

the bamix to speed 2.

Tip: Through the feed tube (G) you can observe the process and
also add other ingredients (such as eggs, spices, liquids).
Never insert hard objects (such as bones, spoons etc.) into
the feed tube (G).
The patented discharge plate (B) makes it very easy to take the
finished food out of the bowl (A) (see fig. K).
