5. Connection
1. Connect an HD source such as an HD DVD to the HDMIAMP input port by means of an
HDMI™ cable.
2. Connect the HDMIAMP output port to an HD monitor or projector by means of an
HDMI™ cable.
3. Tighten the connection screws.
4. The HDMIAMP supports power through the HDMI™ cable. If the HD source does not
send out a power signal, then insert the plug of the PSU into the PSU input and
connect the PSU to the mains.
5. When connection is completed, the green LED should light. If the red LED lights as
well, re-check the connection order and reconnect.
REMARK: For best performance, avoid using a long HMDI™ cable between the HDMIAMP
and the HD monitor. Keep this connection shorter than 10 m.
Only use the supplied PSU if necessary.
