4.2 Alarmanlage
Bei einem durch den Bewegungsmelder ausge-
lösten Alarm kann auch eine angeschlossene Alarm-
anlage aktiviert werden. Dazu eine Alarmschleife der
Alarmanlage über die Klemmen (9) führen. Sind die
Kontakte in der Alarmschleife normalerweise ge-
schlossen, die Klemmen NC und COM anschließen.
Bei im Normalfall geöffneten Kontakten die Klem-
men NO und COM benutzen.
4.3 Zusätzlicher Lautsprecher
Zusätzlich zum eingebauten Lautsprecher (20) kann
an die Klemmen SPEAKER (13) ein Piezolautspre-
cher oder ein Lautsprecher mit einer Impedanz von
mindestens 100 Ω angeschlossen werden. Die Laut-
stärke des Alarmtons für den eingebauten Lautspre-
cher und für den zusätzlichen Lautsprecher wird
gemeinsam mit dem Regler VOLUME (8) eingestellt.
4.4 Zusätzlicher Taster für Alarm-Reset
Wird ein zusätzlicher Taster zum Beenden eines
Alarm benötigt, diesen an die Klemmen RESET (10)
und OUTPUT- (12) anschließen. Der Taster ist mit
der Taste ALARM/RESET (5) parallelgeschaltet.
4.5 Weitere Alarmgeräte
Zum Aktivieren weiterer Alarmgeräte stehen an der
Klemme (11) bei einem Alarm +12 V
gung. Die Belastbarkeit beträgt maximal 100 mA. Die
Masse für diese Steuerspannung liegt an der Klem-
me (12).
4.6 Netzanschluß
Erst nach dem Anschluß aller anderen Geräte den
Bewegungsmelder an eine Steckdose (230 V~/
50 Hz) anschließen.
3 Applications
This video motion detector is inserted between the
camera and the monitor of a monitoring system. If
the brightness in one of the four detection points visi-
ble on the monitor changes (e. g. by a person walk-
ing through the picture), an alarm is activated.
4 Connecting the Unit
The connections must be performed resp. changed
only if the unit is switched off!
4.1 Camera and monitor
Connect the monitoring camera to the BNC jack
VIDEO IN (15). Connect one or two monitors to the
BNC jacks VIDEO OUT (14).
4.2 Alarm system
If an alarm is activated via the motion detector, a
connected alarm system may also be activated.
Feed the alarm loop of the alarm system to the ter-
minals (9). If the contacts of the alarm loop are nor-
mally closed, connect the NC and COM terminals. If
the contacts are normally open, use the NO and
COM contacts.
4.3 Additional speaker
In addition to the installed speaker (20), a piezo
speaker or a speaker with an impedance of at least
100 Ω can be connected to the SPEAKER terminals
(13). The alarm sound volume of the integrated
speaker and of the additional speaker is adjusted in
common with the VOLUME control (8).
4.4 Additional momentary switch for alarm
reset
If an additional momentary switch for ending an
alarm is required, connect it to the terminals RESET
(10) and OUTPUT- (12). The momentary switch is
connected in parallel to the ALARM/RESET button
(5).
5 Inbetriebnahme
1) Das Gerät mit dem Schalter POWER (1) ein-
schalten. Die Kamera und den Monitor ebenfalls
einschalten.
2) Auf dem Monitor sind vier Meßfelder in Form
eines weißen Quadrats sichtbar (Abb. 4). Ändert
sich die Helligkeit in einem der Felder, wird ein
Alarm ausgelöst. Mit den Reglern MARK ADJUST
(2) die Meßfelder an Positionen im Bild legen, bei
denen durch eine Helligkeitsänderung ein Alarm
ausgelöst werden soll, z. B. auf eine Tür, ein Fen-
ster oder einen Durchgang. Die oberen Regler (V)
verschieben die Meßfelder vertikal und die unte-
ren Regler (H) horizontal.
Hinweis: Beim Verschieben der Meßfelder wird
durch Helligkeitsunterschiede im Bild auch ein
Alarm ausgelöst. Eventuell den Regler VOLUME
(8) vorerst ganz nach links auf geringste Laut-
stärke stellen.
3) Die Meßfelder 1 und 2 können mit den Schaltern
(19) auf der Geräteunterseite zu horizontalen Bal-
ken verbreitert werden (Abb. 5). Die Meßfelder 3
und 4 lassen sich mit den Schaltern (18) zu verti-
kalen Balken vergrößern. Am größten ist ein Meß-
feld, wenn die dazugehörigen vier Schalter auf
der Position ON stehen.
Wichtig! Je größer ein Meßfeld eingestellt wird,
desto geringer ist seine Empfindlichkeit zur Alarm-
auslösung.

4) Mit dem Regler SENSITIVITY (7) die Empfindlich-
keit der Alarmauslösung aller Meßfelder einstellen:

5) Nach dem Einschalten steht das Gerät auf auto-
matisches Beenden eines Alarm, und die grüne
LED über der Taste AUTO/MANUAL (3) leuchtet.

4.5 Further alarm units
For activating further alarm units, +12 V
able at the terminal (11) during an alarm. The power
capability is max. 100 mA. The ground of this control
voltage is present at the terminal (12).
4.6 Mains connection
After connecting all other units, connect the motion
detector to a mains socket (230 V~/50 Hz).
5 Operation
1) Switch on the unit with the POWER switch (1).

2) Four detection points shaped as white squares
are visible on the monitor (fig. 4). If the brightness
in one of the detection points changes, an alarm
is activated. With the MARK ADJUST control (2),
move the detection points to those positions in the
picture at which an alarm should be activated
during a change of brightness, e. g. to a door, a
window, or a passage. The upper controls (V)
move the detection points vertically and the bot-
tom controls (H) move them horizontally.
Note: When moving the detection points, the
brightness changes in the picture will also acti-
vate an alarm. If necessary, set the VOLUME con-
trol (8) for the time being completely to the left to
the lowest volume.
3) The detection points 1 and 2 can be broadened to
horizontal detection bars with the switches (19) at
the bottom side of the unit (fig. 5). The detection
points 3 and 4 can be enlarged to vertical bars
with the switches (18). A detection point is at its
largest size if the corresponding four switches are
at the ON position.
Important! Increasing the size of the detection
point decreases its sensitivity regarding alarm
activation.
4) Adjust the sensitivity for the alarm activation of all
detection points with the SENSITIVITY control (7):

Soll ein Alarm nur manuell mit der Taste ALARM/
RESET (5) oder mit einem an den Klemmen (10)
und (12) angeschlossenen Taster beendet wer-
den, das Gerät mit der Taste AUTO/MANUAL (3)
auf Daueralarm schalten. Die grüne LED erlischt.
6) Nach dem Einschalten sind immer die Meßfelder
auf dem Monitor sichtbar, und die gelbe LED über
der Taste MARK/PILOT (4) leuchtet. Sollen die
Meßfelder ausgeblendet werden, einmal die
Taste MARK/PILOT drücken. Die Helligkeitssen-
soren sind weiterhin aktiv, und die gelbe LED
leuchtet.
Ein weiterer Tastendruck schaltet die Senso-
ren und die gelbe LED aus. Es erfolgt keine
Alarmauslösung!
Mit dem dritten Tastendruck sind die Meßfelder
wieder sichtbar, die Sensoren aktiv, und die gelbe
LED leuchtet.
7) Die Lautstärke des Alarmtons für den eingebau-
ten Lautsprecher (20) und eines eventuell ange-
schlossenen Zusatzlautsprechers mit dem Regler
VOLUME (8) einstellen.
6 Alarmmeldungen
Ein ausgelöster Alarm läßt sich mit der Taste
ALARM/RESET (5) oder mit einem an den Klemmen
(10) und (12) angeschlossenen Taster beenden. Bei
einem Alarm werden folgende Funktionen ausgelöst:
1. Das entsprechende Meßfeld blinkt.
2. Die rote LED über der Taste ALARM/RESET (5)
blinkt.
3. Ein Alarmsignal ertönt über den eingebauten
Lautsprecher und über einen eventuell ange-
schlossen Zusatzlautsprecher.
4. Das Alarmrelais schaltet und aktiviert eine eventu-
ell über die Klemmen (9) angeschlossene Alarm-
anlage.
5. An der Klemme (11) liegen +12 V
weiterer Alarmgeräte an.

5) After switching on, the unit is adjusted to auto-
matically end an alarm, and the green LED above
the AUTO/MANUAL button (3) lights. The alarm
duration is adjusted with the TIMER control (6):
Completely to the left: approx. 3 s
Completely to the right: approx. 40 s
If it is desired to end an alarm only manually with
the ALARM/RESET button (5) or with a momen-
tary switch connected to the terminals (10) and
(12), switch the unit to continuous alarm with the
AUTO/MANUAL button (3). The green LED extin-
guishes.
6) After switching on, the detection points are
always visible on the monitor and the yellow LED
above the MARK/PILOT button (4) lights. If the
detection points are to be faded out, press the
MARK/PILOT button once. The brightness sen-
sors are still active and the yellow LED lights.
By pushing the button again, the sensors and
the yellow LED are switched off. There will be no
alarm activation!
By pressing the button for the third time, the
detection points are visible again, the sensors are
active, and the yellow LED lights.
7) Adjust the volume for the alarm sound of the inte-
grated speaker (20) and the possibly installed
additional speaker with the VOLUME control (8).
6 Alarm Messages
An activated alarm can be ended with the ALARM/
RESET button (5) or with a momentary switch con-
nected to the terminals (10) and (12). The following
functions are activated during an alarm:
1. The corresponding detection point flashes.
