Charging the battery
• Only use the battery charging device at a temperature between + 10 °C and + 40 °C.
• Only use the battery charging device in dry, well-ventilated rooms.
Charging
The enclosed battery is delivered in a partially charged state
• To remove the battery (01), push the battery unlocking button (02) and pull the battery
out of the handle.
• The voltage indicated on the ratings plate must coincide with the mains voltage
present.
• After inserting the battery into the charging device (10) the charging process begins
as soon as there is contact between the battery device and the charging device. A red
lamp now lights up on the mains plug and thus indicates that the battery is being
charged.
• The charging of a battery that is completely flat takes approx. 4 hours.
• Once the charging time is over, the colour of the lamp changes from red to green. The
battery has thus been fully charged.
Cleaning
First remove the battery or make sure that the battery is not inserted in the device. Clean
the cover of the machine regularly with a soft cloth, preferably after each use. Keep the
ventilation slits free of dust and dirt. If the dirt cannot be removed like this, use a soft
cloth moistened with soapy water. Do not use solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia
etc. These solvents can damage the plastic parts.
Initial start-up
During work, always wear safety goggles, hearing protection, safety gloves and sturdy
work clothes!
