USE
1 - Preparation of the engine

5 - Analysis of the results
During the check, if the needle rises quickly, this is a sign of a good
seal by the piston rings, the valves and the cylinder head gasket.
The graph produced shows the value of the pressure at the end of
the compression for each cylinder checked. The nominal values
and their tolerances are indicated in the manufacturers' manuals or
in specialist technical manuals. To detect the location of a possible
leak, use the FACOM leak detector, reference 910A.
MAINTENANCE
Keep the equipment clean, periodically clean or change the rubber
nozzle of the flexible pipe. See the exploded view on page 6,
number 1 Ø14 or Ø18 mm

5 - Auswertung der Ergebnisse
Eine schnelle Steigerung der Nadel während der Kontrolle zeigt
eine gute Dichtigkeit der Segmente, der Ventile und der Dichtungen
der Zylinderköpfe. Das Diagrammblatt gibt die Druckwerte am
Ende der Kompression in allen Zylinder an. Die Werte werden
vom Hersteller vorgeschrieben, oder in der Fachliteratur
angegeben. Um festzustellen wo eine undichte Stelle ist,
Leckdetektor FACOM-Ref.
WARTUNG
Das Gerät muß sorgfältig behandelt werden und stets sauber
sein. Der Anschluß muß nach Gebrauch immer gereinigt
werden. Das Gummistück kann und sollte regelmäßig
ausgewechselt werden. Siehe Zeichnung auf Seite 6, Hinweis 1
