8. Installation

A Plug the included mains adapter into a mains socket. Then connect the low-voltage
plug of your mains adapter to the player's low voltage input.
B If you want to use the analogue output, plug the 3.5 mm jack plug of the included
video cable into the A/V out socket of the media player. Then connect the cable to
the analogue video/audio input of your TV (yellow = vide; red = audio right; white =
audio left).
C If you want to connect, e.g. a digital sound system, to the player, connect the visual
digital cable to the S/PDIF socket. Then connect the cable to the corresponding
socket of your sound system.
D If you want to digitally connect the device to your TV via the HDMI-capable con-
nection, connect a HDMI® cable to the two HDMI® sockets (TV and media player).
E Connect your external USB hard disc or flash drive here. Ensure that the storage
device is formatted in a supported file system. To play back multimedia files, they
have to be on the hard disc already!
