Background lighting:

The background lighting can be adjusted to low-consumption mode in order to save power.
- Press + and - for 3 seconds. The display shows Lcd OFF and the background lighting
switches off. The unit is now in waiting mode and the background lighting switches off
automatically after 30 seconds.
- Press + and - for 3 seconds. The display shows Lcd On. The background lighting is re-
activated and stays permanently on.
Childproof safety device:
This safety device prevents children from operating the appliance without supervision.
With the safety device activated and the symbol
cannot be operated.
- To switch on the safety device: press and hold
appears in the display.
- To switch off the safety device: Press and hold
disappears from the display.
