Operation
• Press the PREV button to play back the previous title.
• Press the NEXT button to play back the next title.
• Press the PLAY/PAUSE button during playback to stop playback (green LED above the button starts flashing).
Press the button again to resume playback where it was stopped.
• Press the STOP button to stop playback. When playback is started again, the track that was played last is played
from the beginning.
• Press the REPEAT button to activate the repeat function. The LEDs above the button show the selected repeat
mode:
ONE the current title is repeated continuously
ALL all titles are played and then repeated
• Press the EQ button to select between seven equaliser pre-settings for the MP3 player. When the equaliser is
active, the green LED above the EQ button lights up.
• Press the USB/SD button to switch between USB playback and SD card operation. The green USB and SD LEDs
above the button show the active medium.
• If only one storage medium is inserted, the device automatically selects the correct source.
Only USB media can be used on the USB socket. Most MP3 players with a USB connection switch to
PC mode when the USB connection is used. In this mode, music files cannot be played back. However,
you can always connect the audio output of an MP3 player to the TAPE IN (3) socket using a suitable
adapter connector.
Due to the great variety of storage media on the market, there might be some that are not compatible
with the mobile PA system. If a medium does not work, try using a different one.
SDHC or SD cards with a capacity of more than 2 GB can cause malfunctions. Such cards might not
be compatible.

Volume and sound settings

• Turn the MASTER VOL (5) control clockwise to increase the total volume or anti-clockwise to reduce it.
• Adjust the sound using the TREBLE, MIDDLE and BASE controls of the 3-band equaliser (4).
TREBLE amplifies or dampens high frequencies
MIDDLE amplifies or dampens middle frequencies
BASS amplifies or dampens bass frequencies
