Setting up the device

When selecting the place of installation, avoid direct sunlight, vibration, dust, heat, cold, and
dampness. Keep the device away from strong transformers or motors.
When setting up the device with other equipment, provide sufficient ventilation. Keep a
sufficient distance to heat sources. Do not place the mobile PA system directly next to heat
sources, e.g. an amplifier. Do not point any strong spots or light sources towards the device.
This may lead to overheating (risk of fire!).
Heat removal from the device must not be obstructed. Never place the device on soft surfaces
such as a carpet or a bed. Do not cover the ventilation openings of the housing. Air circulation
must not be obstructed by objects such as magazines, table cloths, curtains or similar. This
prevents heat removal from the device and can lead to overheating (risk of fire!).
Only operate the mobile PA system on a sturdy surface that is not heat-sensitive.
Make sure you position the device safely. Falling devices pose a significant risk of accident.
Do not drill any additional holes or screw any additional screws into the housing to mount the
device. Hazardous live parts might be exposed.
Make sure that the connection cables are not being squeezed or damaged by sharp edges.
Always install the cables so that no-one will trip over them or get caught in them. Risk of injury!
The cables must be of sufficient length. Avoid mechanical strain on the cables. This may
damage the cables or the device. Risk of fatal electric shock!
When mounting the device on loudspeaker stands, make sure the stands are suited for the
weight of the device.
Due to the heavy weight of the device, make sure it is mounted safely and securely to avoid
accidents. Secure the device with additional fasteners, if necessary.
Due to the great variety of varnishes and polishes of furniture, the device feet might leave visible marks
on the furniture caused by chemical reactions. Therefore, the device should not be placed on valuable
furniture surfaces without suitable protection.
• Place the mobile PA box on an even surface.
• When using a loudspeaker stand, put to device onto the stand with the loudspeaker flange attached to the bottom
of the device.
