Use a dry dust cloth only for cleaning, by no means
chemicals or water.
3 Mounting
3.1 DAC-199
To open the keypad controller disengage the locking
lever by pushing a screw driver through the slot at
the lower side. Firmly screw the housing onto the
mounting surface. Pull the cable through the center
hole.
3.2 DAC-299
With outside mounting in any case additionally use
the keypad cover DAC-299CO (order no. 04.0230)
as a weather protection.
Twist the respective nut fully on the black Phillips
screw. Screw this combination in the mounting frame
from behind so far that while inserting the keypad
unit, the anti-tamper switch (S3) is closed by this
screw. If the front panel of the keypad controller is not
directly on the mounting frame, the black screw must
be turned in further. Lock the screw with the attached
nut.
Insert the mounting frame, with the black screw
showing downwards, into the wall and tighten it.
While mounting into a panel wall, the enclosed
brackets and M4 screws can be used.
