Please consider the following information!
Set the transmitter and receiver only on a stable foundation!
Make sure to avoid direct sunlight, vibrations, dust, heat,
cold weather, and humidity!
Do not operate the transmitter and receiver in the proximity
of devices with strong magnetic fields (for example wireless
telephones, radios, electrical engines, etc.)! Also the func-
tionality can be impaired by interference (radiation) from
tuners, television sets, and other such devices! Also metal
surfaces can disturb the transmission of the radio signal.
Reinforced concrete walls can also reduce the range.
Considering the variety of lacquers and polishes used with
furniture, is not impossible that the base of the product
could leave visible marks on furniture via chemical reaction.
This means the transmitter and receiver should not be
placed on valuable furniture surfaces without a suitable
base!
A household outlet should be used near the transmitter
and/or receiver!

1. Set up the transmitter in a room where you would like to remotely control a
sound or video display for example, and plug the power adapter unit into
socket "3"! Next, plug the power adapter unit into a household outlet and
the control display "2" will now shine!
Please note the maximum range of the remote control used! Read this
along with the operating instructions of the remote control!
2. Set up the receiver in a room where the device to be controlled is located!
The distance between these two devices should not be greater than 5 m!
There must be a direct line-of-sight connection, since the infrared signal of
the receiver cannot penetrate obstacles like a radio signal can.
Align the receiver so that the control display "5" infrared eye is turned to
the controlled equipment! Put the plug of the power adapter unit into sock-
et "7"! Next, plug the power adapter unit into a household outlet and con-
trol display "5" will now shine!
3. An IR extension is present as an additional accessory. This is used if a
direct line-of-sight connection between receiver and controlled device is
not possible. Insert the IR extension plug into socket "6"!
Next, please attach the infrared eye of the IR extension only to half of the
infrared eye on the device to be controlled!
Do this because you still need to have the option of directly controlling the
device with the standard IR remote control!
