Operation
IR remote control
• To operate, direct the infrared control to the receiving diode (3) of
the transmitter.
• Press the required buttons, e.g. to change a television channel or
the volume of a HiFi system. The indicator (2) in the transmitter
comes on. Operation is thus the same as with the remote control
when you are in the same room as the unit to be operated. The
transmitter transmits the radio signals via the antenna (1) to the
antenna (5) of the reciever.
• The indicator (6) in the receiver begins to flash and radiates the
converted infrared signal via the transmitting diode (7).
In the unlikely event of this not functioning or a malfunction occur-
ring, switch off the operating voltage immediately and again go
through "Faultfinding" check list at the back of these Instructions.
The unit is always ready for operation, therefore unplug it when not
required for a long period.
