Intended use
The LED mirror ball serves to generate light effects on dance floors, in party base-
ments, stages, etc. in the home sector.
Only power the product by batteries (for correct type see "Technical data").
The product may only be used in enclosed indoor locations. Outdoor use is not al-
lowed. Do not expose to moisture, under any circumstances.
Read the operating instructions carefully and keep them for later reference.
No part of the product may be modified or converted.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times.

ating instructions prior to putting the device into operation and follow the

Safety instructions
F irst, read the complete operating instructions carefully, as they contain
important information about the proper operation.
D amage due to not following these operating instructions will void the
warranty! We do not assume any liability for any resulting damage!
W e do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused
by improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such
cases, the warranty will be null and void!
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modification of
the product is not permitted.
• The product is intended as a decorative light, it is not a toy. Keep it out of
the reach of children.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or spray water,
strong vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.
• Never position containers containing liquids, such as glasses, buckets,
vases or plants, in the direct vicinity of the product. Liquids may seep into
the casing and thus impair the safety of the device. There is also a very
high risk of fire! In such a case, switch off the device immediately and
remove the batteries. Do not use the product after that and take it to a
specialist workshop.
• Do not place naked flames, such as burning candles in the immediate vi-
cinity of the device.
• Do not leave packaging materials unattended. It may become a dangerous
plaything for children.
• Never use the product without supervision.
• Use the product only in a temperate climate and not in a tropical climate.
• You should also heed to the additional safety instructions in each chapter
of this instruction.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in these operating in-
structions, please contact our technical support centre or consult a pro-
fessional.
Inserting / replacing batteries
K eep batteries out of reach of children.
D o not leave batteries lying around in the open; there is a risk of them being
swallowed by children or domestic animals. If they are swallowed, consult
a doctor immediately.
L eaking or damaged batteries can lead to caustic burning of the skin.
Therefore, use suitable protective gloves.
B atteries must not be short-circuited, opened or thrown into a fire. There is
a risk of explosion!
D o not recharge normal, non-rechargeable batteries, risk of explosion!
Only recharge rechargeable batteries that are intended for this purpose;
use a suitable battery charger.
M ake sure that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries (pay at-
tention to plus/+ and minus/–).
R emove batteries from the device if you will not be using it for a longer
period.
• Open the battery compartment on the back side of the engine unit. Remove the
safety screw of the battery compartment lid.
• Insert three new 1.5 V Mignon batteries (AA) paying attention to the correct polarity.
The correct polarity is stamped on the bottom of the battery compartment.
• Close the battery compartment lid again and secure it with the safety screw.
• If the light intensity of the LED decreases or the LED mirror ball does not function any
more, the batteries have to be replaced.
Assembly
T he assembly and installation of the device may only be carried out by a
qualified specialist.
M ake sure that the area below the place of mounting is blocked off during
installation and service works.
N ever install the product in the vicinity of combustible or easily inflamma-
ble materials, (e.g., curtains, decorative material etc.). Keep a free space of
at least 50 cm around the engine unit, for unhindered air circulation.
T he LED mirror ball must be hung up so that it can freely rotate; it may not
come into contact with other surfaces or objects under any circumstanc-
es. The engine unit must be secured horizontally because tilted mounting
causes malfunctions.
M ake sure the engine unit gets sufficient ventilation (never cover it!).
T he maximum permissible environmental temperature of 35 °C may not be
exceeded.
T he installation area or equipment must be designed in such a way that
it can support ten times the rated load for at least one hour without being
deformed permanently.
I t is essential that the LED mirror ball is furthermore secured by a second
safety suspension (e.g. safety catch) which is independent from the ac-
tual installation fixture. If the main supports fail, no part of the installation
should be able to fall down.
T he LED mirror ball may not be installed within the reach of persons.
D o not put, under any circumstances, additional weight or decorative mate-
rial on the LED mirror ball or the engine unit.
