• Installation of the electrical installation material
• Type of the supply network (TN-system, IT-system, TT-system) and the resulting connection conditions
(classical zeroing, protective grounding, required additional measures, etc.)
If you do not have the expertise required for installation, do not connect and install the device your-
self but ask a specialist.
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is prohibited for safety and approval
reasons.
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children! There is the risk of a potentially fatal
electric shock!
• The product must only be operated with mains voltage (see "Technical Data"). Never try to operate the
product with any other voltage. This would destroy it.
• A device for all-pin separation from the mains voltage must be provided on the installation side (e.g. FI
circuit breaker).
• The product corresponds to protection type IP44 when installed correctly and with the front cover closed.
However, do not install it outdoors, but only in closed inner rooms, to protect it from precipitation and low
ambient temperatures.
• The product must only be installed and operated stationarily. Never install or operate it in vehicles.
• Do not use the product inside of rooms or in bad ambient conditions where flammable gases, vapours or
explosive dust may be or are present! There is a danger of explosion!
• The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong vibrations or mechani-
cal strain.
• If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the device must be turned off and precau-
tions are to be taken to ensure that it is not used unintentionally. Then have the product inspected by a
specialist.
It must be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, if:
- the product is visibly damaged
- the product does not work or not work properly (flickering light, smoke or burnt smell, audible crackling,
discolouration of the product or adjacent surfaces)
- the product has been stored under unfavourable conditions for an extended period of time
- it has been subjected to severe stress during transport
• Do not leave the packaging material lying around carelessly as it can become a dangerous toy for chil-
dren.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's Liability Insurance As-
sociation for Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are to be observed!
