2. Explanation of Symbols

This lightning symbol is used when your health is at risk, e.g. through an electric shock.
The symbol with the exclamation mark points out particular dangers associated with handling, function or
operation.
The arrow symbol indicates special advice and operating information.
Observe the operating instructions!

3. Intended Use

The product is used for temperature control for cold stores, cooling units, etc.
By controlling a cooling unit and a heating unit (for max. connection output for either, see chapter "Technical Data"), it
is possible to maintain a specified temperature, e.g., in a cold store.
An external temperature sensor is enclosed in the delivery.
Furthermore, the product offers an installation option for up to two circuit breakers; it may instead also have an energy
cost meter, operating hours counter, etc., (neither enclosed).
Various setting options (e.g. temperature difference for hysteresis) permit adjustment to the cooling or heating unit
connected by you and to the operating site (e.g. cold store).
The safety notes and all other information in these operating instructions always have to be observed. Read the op-
erating instructions precisely and keep them. Only pass the product on to any third parties together with the operating
instructions.
This product complies with the statutory national and European requirements.
