With dowel
NOTE:
The brass dowel (Fig. 1/5) included in the scope of delivery is most suitable for
subbases consisting of wood or stone. If you use the brass dowel in a very hard material
(e.g. granite) you must make sure that the dowel is inserted for at least 10 mm.
1. Drill a hole into the subbase and insert a suitable dowel into the hole.
2. Screw the sensor into the dowel.
NOTE:
In case of loose soils assemble the earth spit (Fig. 1/6) as described and then place the
sensor in the desired location.
Connecting the schegoLUX-Sensor
ATTENTION:
Too high power input can destroy the sensor. You should only connect the sensor to a
transformer with maximum output of 12V-105W.
1. Connect the plug-in connector of the sensors (Fig. 1/3) with the transformer (not
included in the scope of delivery) and tighten the spigot nut.
2. Connect the plug connection of your garden and pond illumination with the sensor
(Fig. 4) and tighten the spigot nut (Fig. 5).
ATTENTION:
Incorrect voltage can damage the power supply unit. Only connect the transformer, if
the electric voltage specified on the transformer complies with the voltage of your wall
outlet.
3. Insert the mains plug of the transformer into an earthing contact socket.
