4PCS. MEASUREMENT TOOL SET

Intended use
Measurement tool set composed of a digital vernier calliper (150mm), a micrometer 0 - 0.25 mm,
a three-cornered tear with two v-shaped legs and a 150 mm steelscale.
The electronics of the vernier calliper must not get damp or wet. The products should be stored
dry when not used. Before use, remove the corrosive preventive oil with a soft towel, soaked in
cleaning oil.
The products must not get damp or wet.
Operating the product in any other way than described above is not permitted and may lead to
damage to the product, which can give rise to risks such as short circuit, fire and electric shock.
The product must not be modified or converted. Always observethe safety instructions included
in these operating instructions. Read the operating instructions carefully and keep them for lat-
er reference.

Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any consequen-
tial damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The warranty
will be void in such cases.
• The product must not be modified or converted, as not only the CE approval
will become void but also the warranty.
• After rapid changes in temperature, the product requires some time to sta-
bilise, in order to adjust to the surrounding temperature, before it can be
used.
• Electronic devices are not toys and should be kept out of the reach of chil-
dren!
• Please contact a qualified person, if you are unsure about the safety and
correct use of the system components.
• Never leave the packaging material lying around unattended. Plastic-
foil/bags etc. can be dangerous playthings for children, there is a risk of suf-
focation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, dis-
connect the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device shows visible signs of damage,
- the device no longer functions and
- the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long
period of time or
- it has been subjected to considerable stress in transit.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the
Employer's Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and
Operating Materials are to be observed.
• The product must not get damp or wet.
• Power supply is ensured via a 1.55 V/DC button battery (type: SR44 or
SR44W).
• Never pour fluids out above electrical devices.
• Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out by a qualified
specialist or a specialised repair shop.
• If you have any questions, which are not answered in this manual, please
contact our technical service or another specialist.
Battery notes
• Batteries should be kept out of children's reach.
• Please pay attention to the correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-) when inserting the battery.
• Do not leave batteries lying around in the open; there is a risk of them being swallowed by chil-
dren or domestic animals. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries can lead to caustic burning of the skin. Therefore, use suitable
protective gloves.
• Make sure that the battery is neither short-circuited nor thrown into a fire. There is a risk of
explosion!
• Do not recharge normal batteries. There is a risk of explosion! Only charge rechargeable bat-

teries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
• If it is not to be used for a while (e.g. storage), remove the battery. Old batteries may leak and
cause damage to the product, which will lead to the loss of the warranty/guarantee.

Manual
The electronics of the vernier calliper must not get damp or wet. The products should be stored
dry when not used. Before use, remove the corrosive preventive oil with a soft towel, soaked in
cleaning oil.

Start-up
• Open the „battery compartment" (9) and insert, with the correct polarity (the positive pole point-
ing to the outside), a 1.55 V button battery (type: SR44 or SR44W).
• Press the „ON/OFF" button (8), to switch on the depth vernier calliper.
• Press the „inch/MM" button (7) to determine if the measuring result should be shown in inch-
es or millimeters.
Zero adjustment
Fully move the „stem for measuring depths" in the vernier calliper and press the „Zero adjust-
ment button" (6).
This one-time setting of the start position needs to be performed after every battery change to
set the absolute zero point.
