7. Setup

The charging/transmission station must be operated on a stable, level surface.
Ensure that the device is placed on a stable surface to prevent it from falling off and causing injury.
• When selecting the setup location for the charging/transmission station, take the room layout into consideration,
e.g. location of the nearest socket, audio connection on the TV device.
• Avoid proximity to direct sunlight, vibrations, dust, hot and cold temperatures and damp.
Owing to the various paints and polishes used on furniture, the base of the charging/transmission station
may leave visible marks on the furniture on which it is placed as a result of a chemical reaction. Do not
place the device on top of valuable furniture without appropriate protection.

8. Operation

a) Connecting the power adapter
Only the enclosed power adapter may be used for the mains connection.
The power adapter may only be powered by a standard mains socket that is connected to the national grid.
Ensure that the voltage indicated on the power adapter corresponds with the mains voltage of your power
supply. Never try to operate the power adapter at a different voltage.
Ensure that the connecting cable is not pinched or damaged by sharp edges when making the connection.
The mains socket to which the power adapter is connected must be easily accessible, so that the device
can be quickly isolated from the mains power supply in the event of a fault.
• Connect the low-voltage plug of the power adapter to the DC 5 V connection (4) on the rear of the charging/
transmission station.
• Plug the power adapter into a wall socket.
• Switch the charging/transmission station on with the ON/OFF switch (5).
• The POWER/CHARGE indicator (7) lights up green when the charging/transmission station is switched on.
