Setting The Address - VOLTCRAFT ES-5 Bedienungsanleitung

• The entire energy reflects the energy produced by the photo-voltaic installation which was
measured since the start-up of the "ES-5".
In order not to loose the value in case the "ES-5" is switched off or due to a current failure,
the total energy value is saved in regular intervals.
In order to delete this value, actuate the button for approximately 15 seconds until
"Gesamtenergie zurückgesetzt" (= "Whole energy Reset") appears in the display.
After releasing the button, the count of the whole energy restarts with "0 kWh".
c) Setting the address
If you wish to use the "ES-5" with a reception unit of the "Energy Control 3000" system, the
address of the power meter must be changed if necessary.

Ex works, the latter is set to 5 and needs to be changed only if already another
energy monitor component (e.g. the "ES-1") is used in the house with this
address.
In order to change the address, press the button until "Adresse ändern?" (= "change address?")
appears in the display.
Once the button is released, the currently set address appears at the lower right side of the
display.
It can be changed by briefly actuating the button. The addresses 5 to 8 are intended for the
"ES-5". This means that when the button is actuated once more after the indication of address
8, the indication goes back to address 5.
Once you have set the desired address, confirm the latter by pressing and holding the push
button. As soon as the new address is accepted and stored, it appears in the display: „Neue
Adresse gespeichert!" (= "new address stored!").
To register one of the receivers of the "Energy Control 3000" system to the "ES-5", the receiver
must be put in the synchronization mode.
The "ES-5" transmits its first data packet immediately after connecting the operating voltage.
Afterwards, a data packet is sent every 5 minutes. The receiver should be saved at the sender
after 5 minutes at most and the synchronization mode exited.
