Preparation

Requirements:
– You have read the chapter "Safety" from
page GB-6 and understand all the safety
instructions.
– The appliance is set up and connected as
described on page GB-22.
Select the dishwasher
program and start
1. Switch on the tap completely.
2. Open the dishwasher door and add dish-
washer detergent/multi-action tablets,
rinse aid and dishwasher salt as required.
3. Push the -button (1) to switch on the
dishwasher. You will hear a signal tone
and all LEDs will illuminate briefly. After a
short time, two dashes "– –" will appear
on the display.
4. Select the appropriate dishwashing pro-
gram using the dishwasher program table
on page GB-17 . Push the P button (3) until
the display shows the desired program
number (P1 ...P6).
5. Close the dishwasher door. The program
will start after a few seconds.

Additional options

The following additional options can be add-
ed prior to the program starting.
Delayed start
The washing cycle will normally begin as
soon as the dishwasher door has been
closed. However, you can delay the start of
the program by up to 24 hours.
• Before the program begins, push the
button (4) as many times as required until
the desired delay time (6) appears (01...
24). The program will start automatically
after the delay period has finished.
Half load
Select the option "Half load" if you only need
to wash up to a maximum of 6 place set-
tings. The water and power consumption is
reduced through this setting.
• Push the ½ button (2). The ½ LED (10)
will light up.
This option can not be switched on
using program P6
Changing the dishwasher
program
You can interrupt an active dishwasher pro-
gram at any point and start a new one. How-
ever, do not forget to add extra dishwasher
detergent if the program has already been
running for a longer period and the cover of
the dishwasher detergent compartment is al-
ready open.
CAUTION!
Risk of scalding!
If you open the dishwasher door during
operation, there is a risk that hot water
will spray out of it.
When opening the dishwasher door,

always use just the handle. Maintain
a safe distance from the appliance
in order to avoid water/steam which
may escape.
Keep children and pets away from
■
the appliance.
1. Open the dishwasher door just a crack in-
itially and wait until the spraying arm has
come to a stop and the steam has dis-
persed. Then open the dishwasher door
completely. When you open the dish-
washer door, the dishwasher program is
automatically paused.
2. If required, add extra dishwasher deter-
gent.
