5. Preparing the devices for use
5.1 Mounting the device on the camera
• Plug the device with its shoe on the flash shoe mount of your camera.
•
Turn the fastening wheel to fasten the device on the shoe.
•
Fasten the adapter ring by pressing the locking and unlocking lever on the
lamp.
•
Fasten the lamp on your lens by using the appropriate adapter.
HINWEIS
Ensure secure fastening of the device. Tighten the fastening wheel.
5.2 Inserting Power Pack
WARNUNG
For this device use only a powerpack which complies with the prescribed
specification. See technical specifications.

Fully charge the powerpack with the battery charger.
NOTE
In order to ensure the longevity of the power pack you must charge the po-
wer pack to full capacity before using the video light for the first time. Use
the power pack until it is completely discharged. Then recharge the power
pack to full capacity. Repeat these steps about 2 times.

Insert the charged powerpack on the powerpack holder so that it clicks
into place.
•
To remove the powerpack operate the unlocking lever and pull the power-
pack off.
