4. Note that due to the IR light, photos or videos are in principle made in black & white. The IR light is
switched on automatically if the brightness sensor integrated into the game camera detects an ambient
brightness which is too low.
g) Additional functions
1. The game camera can be operated via an external power supply for stationary operation. A power supply
with a stabilized output voltage of 6 V/DC and an output current of 2 A is needed for this purpose. The
middle contact of the low voltage circular connector must be "+", the external contact "-". A suitable
circular connector should be included with the power supply (external Ø 4.0 mm, internal Ø 1.7 mm).
2. The batteries are switched off if a power supply is connected.
3. When the bottom cover (7) is closed, the rubber cover (5) can be opened to insert the low voltage circular
connector.
4. Photos or a video image can be displayed on a TV or monitor via the TV out (28) connection. A
corresponding video cable is included in the scope of delivery. Note that videos cannot be played back.
Only the first picture of the video is displayed, however, not the running video image. The displayed
image on the TV is the same as on the LC display and the menu is navigated on the camera. The PAL or
NTSC colour system is recognised automatically by the camera.
5. You can transfer the data to a PC to play videos and use a suitable video playing software there.
6. The game camera can be connected to a computer via the mini USB connection (30) to read and copy
the data of the memory card like from a card reader. The game camera must be switched off before for
this purpose (switch OFF / ON / TEST to OFF). Connect the mini USB plug of the USB cable provided to
the mini USB connection of the camera and the USB A plug to a free USB connection on your computer.
Normally it is advisable to take the memory card out of the game camera to be able to read it
with a conventional memory card reader. The transmission speed is also higher here for the
most part.
7. The eye (22) below the safety lever can be used to safeguard the bottom cover from unauthorized
access with a lock.

Maintenance and cleaning

• There are no components located inside the product you need to maintain. Never open/dismantle the

• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as they can cause
damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
• Before cleaning, turn off the camera and disconnect all cables that might be connected to it.
• Regularly wipe down the camera using a dry cloth. Keep the camera lens clean.
• Remove the batteries when the product is not in use.
• Store the product at a dry, clean location shielded from direct sunlight and out of the reach of children.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
Remove any inserted batteries and dispose of them separately from the product.
b) Batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries. Disposing of them
in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that disposal in the domestic
waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg =
Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our stores or wherever
batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
