• This product may only be assembled, commissioned and operated by suitably qualified pro-
fessionals and only in compliance with the requirements stated in this operating manual.
• For safety and approval (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the pro-
duct are not permitted.
• As power supply, only use the supplied mains adapter.
• Only a proper mains socket connected to the public power supply network may be used as
power supply unit for the power adaptor. Before plugging in the power adaptor, check whether
the voltage stated on the power adaptor complies with the voltage of your electricity supplier.
• Never connect or disconnect power adaptors if your hands are wet.
• Never unplug the power unit from the mains socket by pulling on the cable; always use the
grips on the plug.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the power unit from the mains socket during storms.
• Adjustments or maintenance should only be carried out by trained professionals who are
aware of the dangers. Improperly executed adjustments might result in dangerous laser radia-
tion.
• When operating the laser equipment, always make sure that the laser beam is directed so that
no one is in the projection area and that unintentional reflected beams (e.g. from reflective
objects) cannot be directed into areas where people are present.
• Laser radiation can be dangerous, if the laser beam or reflection enters unprotected eyes.
Therefore, before using the laser equipment, familiarise yourself with the statutory regulations
and instructions for operating such a laser device.
• Never look into the laser beam and never point it at people or animals. Laser radiation may
result in injuries to the eyes or skin.
• Do not point the laser beam at mirrors or other reflective surfaces. The uncontrolled, reflected
beam may strike people or animals.
• Operate the laser only in a monitored area.
• If possible, restrict the range of radiation by using screens or partitions.
• Mark the range of the laser by barriers or by using warning signs.
• Wherever possible, direct the laser in such a way that it does not cross eye level.
• Caution: if operating settings or procedures other than those described in these

could temporarily impair your eyesight. Moreover, they may trigger epileptic seizures for
vulnerable persons. This applies in particular to epileptics.
• The device is not a toy. Children and adolescents cannot judge the dangers of electrical
devices and lasers.
• Inspect the laser unit from time to time for damage. Should the laser unit or the power adaptor
show any damage, disconnect them from the power supply (unplug power adaptor). Do not
use the product afterwards; instead, take it to a specialist workshop.
• Never pour liquids over electrical devices and never place objects filled with liquid on top of them
(e. g. vases). You run the risk of causing a fire or a fatal electric shock. If liquids enter the device,
immediately disconnect it from the power supply, remove the plug from the mains and consult
an expert.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or sprayed water, strong vibrations or
heavy mechanical stress.
• Do not place open flames, such as burning candles, on or close to the device.

Installation/Setup
The assembly and the installation of the device must be carried out by a
specialist who is familiar with the hazards and the relevant regulations.
Repairs, operation and maintenance of the product may only be carried out by
qualified personnel.
Take care not to place or install the device where it will be exposed to shaking,
vibration, dust, heat, cold and moisture. Furthermore, keep the product away
from strong transformers or motors.
The device must be mounted out of normal reach.
When installing the product ensure that the adaptor's power cord is not
jammed or damaged by sharp edges.
During installation and servicing, the area below the installation site must be
cordoned off.
The installation surface, or mounting fixture, must be designed so that it can
withstand 10 times the loading capacity for at least 1 hour without permanent
damaging deformation.
It is also essential that the device is secured by means of a second safety
restraint, which is independent of the proper mounting supports, when it is
installed in an elevated position. If the main supports fail, no part of the
installation should be able to falling down.
Observe all the relevant regulations when mounting/installing the device.
Keep a free area of 15 cm around the housing to ensure unhindered heat dis-
sipation. Otherwise, the laser may overheat.
The laser can be mounted free-standing or fixed to the ceiling or wall using the support provided.
