4. Symbols
A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of an electric
shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates to you particular risks in handling, opera-
ting and control.
The "hand" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.1

5. Safety Instructions

The guarantee/warranty will be void if damage is incurred resulting from non-
compliance with the operating instructions. We will not assume any responsibili-
ty for consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. In such cases the
warranty/guarantee is voided.
• The product must not be modified or converted, as not only the CE approval will
become void but also the warranty.
• Do not touch leaking or oxidised batteries/rechargeable batteries with your bare
hands. Use protective gloves.
• The product should not be exposed to extreme temperatures, humidity, direct
sunlight, intense vibration or heavy mechanical strain.
• The loudspeaker may reach sound pressure level (SPL). Do not expose your
ears to a sound pressure level in excess of 90 dBA for a longer period of time.
• After rapid changes in temperature, the product needs some time to adjust to
the surrounding temperature. Wait until the product has adjusted to the ambient
temperature prior to using it.
